What changes in a week?
Most people who join Sketch Week are not here because they want to learn to draw. They are here because they want to feel like themselves again for ten minutes a day.
A daily sketching practice does something specific. It asks you to really look at something small and ordinary, something you have probably walked past a hundred times, and in the looking, the rest of it quiets for a moment. By the end of the week you will have made seven sketchbook pages. More than that: you will know that you can do this, that it takes less time than you thought, and that the result matters a great deal less than the doing.
